8:15am- We are almost to Myrtle Beach and we are sitting in the woods contemplating our next maneuver. I am noticing a lot of traffic, like bumper-to-bumper traffic, heading into Myrtle Bch. Thats got to mean somethings happening over there. I'd be willing to wager they're not going swimming. It has been solid since 6:00am, a steady stream. Got a good hard rain last night and we probably should have rested one more day. But I am getting antsy to see this place.
2:30- We are finally up to the Intercoastal Waterway and over the bridge is destination "X" (as in marks the spot) I see a major problem crossing this bridge, though. No where to walk and the traffic is vicious. I have to say that the last 10 miles down Waccamaw Blvd. has been the hardest 10 that I've encountered. I may have to sit here until dark before I can get across this bridge. I hope there is a store close by on the other side. One of is hungry and one of us is looking like he would like to take a hunk of my leg.
