7:00am- We are still sitting behind the store where we stayed last night at John Dodd Rd. and Asheville Hwy. We have to hang out here until around 9:00 and wait for Danny, he said he would pick us up and take us to Hendersonville N.C. I think that would be the best location to find some work, surely Spartanburg is a lost cause for employment.
We ended up sleeping on a king-size mattress that was leaning against the wall at a storage building. I woke up at mid-night and I was soaking wet from the dew, fog, what ever you want to call it. Maybe in Hendersonville I can hunt down Joe and maybe get cleaned up a bit. At least borrow his washing machine and wash my clothes.
5:00pm- Danny sent his son, Eric, to pick me up this morning and carry us to Hendersonville. He took me to the Ramada Inn in Hendersonville, I didn't want to spend the money, but what the hell, let's splurge a little. Its just one night, hot shower, no rain, all the unfun stuff. Skil's can rest without be on alert all the time. I splurged again at the near-by Waffle House. We rested good, so far!
