9:00am- HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Last night found us just outside of Jacksonville, Ga. The home of the world record bass and the state record Buck. Must be the water around here. It is pretty nippy this morning, the best we could do for shelter last night was a grove of tightly knit trees. Helped a lot. We passed a sign that puts McRae at 11 more miles, it should be a larger town than I've passed through so far. If I can find the right place to hold up for a few days, we're gonna take a couple much needed days to rest.
12:30pm- We were sitting under a tree when a car pulled up and gave me some food, banana nut bread, cinnamon nut bread, an apple and 3 sodas. Nothing Skil's would eat, but he had 3 wings, a porkchop and a spam sandwitch. Not really enough for him, but until I find something else it'll do. The day ain't over yet!
6:00pm- We are now settling in for the night 3 miles north of Dublin (not Ireland). Some hunters picked us up earlier and toted us about 50 miles down the road. Well I'll Be! He gave me a can of Vienna Sausages and I gave them to Skil's. I found a shed that looked deserted but it was full of farming equipment, so we moved on. I found a place another mile down the road back in the trees, so here we'll stay tonight. Its cloudy this evening and I hope it don't rain. These low clouds will make it warmer than the last 2 nights. I can't take much of that 30 degree temperture. Damn I am from Miami, by God!
