January 20, 2002- Sunday- Day 8610:15am- We are packing up to move on down towards Boiling Springs. It is a very pretty day out after all the rain I've had the last 2 days. I don't ever recall seeing the sun so bright as here in SC. Skil's ate a humdinger of a meal this morning, maybe he won't be a problem on the walk. I hope to get cleaned up today, I haven't washed my hair since 12/22, that's bad!
12:30pm- We are taking a break on the old 'Rainbow Road' bridge. It sure is a nice place to rest on such a nice day. Been thinking about Laura all day, even dreamed about her last night. I must be losing my mind from being alone so much , these last couple months. I don't have any bad thoughts at all about anything, I have been at ease for while and nothing seems to bother me anymore. Far Out!
We walked by 2 cop cars sitting along the side of the road, I'm figuring its a speed trap and I hope one of these hillbillies don't come flying around that curve to fast on his mule. WHOA! Mule.
