11:00am- I am behind Ingles ( Grocery store chain) in Boiling Springs and I see no hope for this place, moving on! I am gonna leave my stuff here and go for a walk and look around.
Yesterday while checking out a dumpster behind the Dollar Store I noticed some people watching me, from across the street. I worked my way around the block and passed in front of their house and turns out it was a mission for the needy. I asked one of the people coming out if they gave out food? I was told no, but if you need a couch to carry around with you, this is the place. Just fill out a form and get some clothes and furniture. I just explained that I want to feed my dog, I am comfortable sitting on a stump. They said come back later and talk to the head person and maybe they could get me into a HUD program or something. I don't believe that I will be back.
Wandering around I found a restaraunt that had recently burned down, like in the last 2 or 3 days. It was located by I-85 and had woods abutting the property line. Looked like a good place to kill a couple days while I'm waiting for some good news. Maybe, I'll run back down to the mission and have a couch delivered! I have to walk back to Ingles and get my pull-along and back-pack then come back and set up house. I'll explore this burnt out building about dark. Might be something inside that didn't get burned up to bad.
