5:00pm- Some fellow from across the street drove up to where I was camped, I don't know how he knew I was there, but he found me. His name was Rufus (I think that is a solid country name) He said he came over to see if I needed anything. (What?) Well, what was I going to say? Hell, I need everything, but I didn't say that. All I can figure is that he noticed me wandering around in the woods.
I did take a really refreshing nap today and feel at the top-of-my-game now. We will probably move on tomorrow, I shouldn't be found this easy.
7:30pm- Now, a guy named Ken rode up on a dirt-bike to see if I needed anything (not again) I told him that I was alright, but he came back in a while and brought me and Skil's some food. Then Rufus pulled up and brought me a couple of blankets and a beer. Then Ken said he would come back later and take me over to where he works to take a shower at the fitness center where he works. Michelain Tire Co. the main place for tires, I guess. I am beginning to believe that I must be on some kind of drugs or something. This kind of stuff doesn't happen where I come from.
I told Ken I had a CB radio that I found along the road and if he wanted it, he could surely have it. He said sure, and then he called a trucker going down the highway, he was happy enough to give me $15.00 for it. (*note* I found this radio laying along the road in NC, just before the snow) All I can say about today's events is "WOW"
